Welcome to our Year 2 page!

In Year 2, we work and play together, helping each other to achieve our very best. We try really hard to work independently, developing resilience and aiming high. We enjoy learning, exploring new topics and having fun!

In Year 2, we follow the 5W's by making sure everyone feels Welcome.

We share the Word of God through the things we say and do. 

We protect the Welfare of everyone we meet so that we all feel safe and happy at school. 

We Worship together, sharing our prayers and thoughts with God.

By doing these things we Witness the work and life of Jesus every day.

In Y2, the children will have a following timetable which will be as follows:

Please note that children need to ensure they come to school in their a full PE kit and that earrings should not be worn. If you child does need to wear earrings, please cover them with tape before they come to school.

It is so important that your child is reading every day, just for 10 minutes. Little and often is much more effective. Please ensure you sign your child’s reading record book so we can see who is reading at home. Please send this into school every day.

Children will bring home spellings each Friday for a test the following Friday. These will be in your child's spelling book and on the half termly spelling letter.
