• Y6 Celebrations

In year 6, we have Mrs Dunne (6KD teacher) and Miss Myrtle (6M teacher).

Other adults are Mrs Dent (6KD teaching assistant), Mrs Ivers (6M teaching assistant) and Mrs Fletcher (6M SSA).

E N G L I S H

In this Summer term, our class novel is 'The London Eye Mystery' by Siobhan Dowd and links to our geography topic: London. 

We will be writing to persuade, writing to inform and writing to entertain where children will complete a full narrative. 

M A T H S 

This term, children will continue to consolidate everything they have learned throughout the year and have lots of opportunities to apply that knowledge to practical, real-life problems. 

G E O G R A P H Y

This term, children will complete two geography units. The first is a study of London, the second a local study of Radcliffe. Through this, children will practise being geographers by improving their map skills, locational knowledge, and understanding of human/physical features of London, Radcliffe and Manchester.

R E L I G I O N

During this term, our topics will be: Witnesses, Healing and Common Good.

 We follow the Come and See scheme of work and undertake our collective worship every Friday where we take time to reflect and pray together.
